Coulthard stepping in and Legard got the boot

About time they got rid of him, even though he only done it for 2 years

thank fuck! I can't deal with him - only thing is his knowledge of obscure events from grand prix through the ages but he's an awful comentator

I think Coulthard will be good; his post race analysis is good and he often has a different viewpoint to Brundle in the red button programs. It also stops the bickering between Coulthard and Eddie Jordan

The only problem I see with that is, now Eddie will rant on about all sorts of shit, and there will now be no one to correct him, and make sense of a situation.

DC still has a contract with RBR, so he'll be biased as usual but anyone is better than Legard. Although i was thinking they'd bring in Croft as a replacement, he's pretty decent on the R5L commentary.

I would get so frustrated with Legtard. Something obvious would happen like an overtaking maneuver and he would probably say it was different drivers than it was and then 5 minutes later it would click in his head what had actually happened. He was always getting stuff wrong! Brundle is a legend and Coulthard's good at the technical reviewing stuff so I reckon it should be a good setup.

On a similar note James Allens F1 blog is very good. Far better at blogging than he ever was commentating.
