ive got to re-assemble a stripped head from scratch, my onky problem is wich camshaft is wich...
one has L1 D 051 08:18 stamped on it
and the other has L1 E 052 13:27

the only thing i can think would be the one with the E on it is the exhaust valve camshaft?

Hi mate,my dad who works for Nissan/Renault reckons :

D is intake camshaft. D stands for D`admission which means intake in French.
E is exhaust camshaft.
I would definately check this first though.

Also mate any initials on a Clio will be in French.

Hope this helps mate
