I have owned my little fiat punto for just over a month now, and since I've had it i've had back luck!

1/1/11 - some twat reversed into my driver side rear 1/4

3/1/11 - had my lock tampered with (attempted theft)

now tonight: Went out for student night but was driving.Had a good night then waiting outside a club for my mate i had a guy come up to the car sayng to one of my mates "whats your problem?" obviously had a panda pop too many so we went to drive off! as i pulled away he ran at the car and done a flying kick at the door ended in a massive crease in it

Luckily police caught it on cctv and came round the corner within seconds. the towns cctv had picked in up hiding at the side of a shop down an alleyway and caught it.

I've now got to get a quote and give a statement

More hassle than its worth but its time to teach little dickheads a lesson!

It will go to court, he won't have the means to pay for it so will have to give you £2 a week
Forcing you to get it fixed on insurance meaning you have to pay excess and next years premium goes up!

It's the way it goes with scum like that!

my car is grey and a pile of wank.

its a pile of wank because its a pile of wank.
not because of its colour.

im sure that your green car has no effect on your luck in life and in cars.

edit: ahh i see you edit'd your post title. well played.

It won't go court, same happend to me. Go to the most expsensive place you can find to get it repaired, get a written quote (so you can hand it to the Police when you give a statement) and explain the situation to them (the garage) why you want this quote and show them the damage, and get as much money from him. Worked for me.

Can you get the money then go to a cheaper place, thus pocketing the left overs?

Not too sure mate. Its going to court for definate as They have cctv and my statement to match the evidence.it still has his shoe print aswell in the door which they have took a picture of so I've got everything i need.

I could take it somewhere and possible get a second hand door and have it sprayed and fitted yeah.

i did this once and the insurance wouldn't give me all the money as i wasn't going to the repair place they suggested, think my damage quote was £900 and insurance give me £300 ish

Suppose the only good thing is if they do repair it (which i doubt they will) the scratches will get taken away aswell...
