Timing belt, water pump, tensioner and tensioner spring replaced in last 2000kms with genuine honda parts. New brake hoses fitted in last 50km's. Serviced with Motul 300v Oil and hamp filters.

This car is a get in and drive car, all the major maintanence work that ITR's need has been completed with uprated parts where I saw fit.

Forgot to add that I WON'T be selling parts off the car, so don't ask!!!

i pay £570 for a jdm 98 spec import modified with adrian flux being 25 and 8 years ncd.

Sky, Adrian flux, A-plan, brentache are all around the £600 mark for me. Let me know if you want any extra advice. They are great track cars btw.

The one we're buying has

spoon exhaust, TODA manifold, APEXi FC ECU, TEIN Coilovers, DIXCEL brakes and a few other bits.

I mean, match ncb for a new policy. I obviously have my s2000 insured and will continue that, so would need to get a new insurance set up for the dc2.

currently got a 30 day insurance sorted for £36 maybe I will just do that 12 times

my spec is
mugen induction kit, mugen exhaust system, mugen suspension, 300mm brake upgrade, harnesses, striped rear seats out, x brace in boot. There is a progress thread in showground on itr-dc2

hate all this spec crap

all boyracer owned cars are all basically lowered, hard bushes, noisy air filter, random exhaust bits and demon tweeks brake parts

no one uses genuine stuff from the dealers, just aftermarket things from the internet, its the same as the VW scene. I can't moan as i've done it

just saying a list of parts doesn't always mean a well cared for looked after car.

Absolute crock of shite. When you see the parts that have been fitted you can see they've been well thought out and selected. They're "real" japanese performance parts, not cheaply produced Chinese shite. Last time I checked dealers didn't supply "OEM" suspension set up's for track days....if you want the best out of your car on track Steve Smith at Honda wouldn't be my first port of call for parts
