Id presume it would be reccomended to use super unleaded and probably the car would run smoother

If it's anything like the Astra, it will run on both but has proven peformance gains on the 99ron fuel.

Run and perform better on 99ron but it does give you a very annoying humming noise from the fuel pump.

Obviously they run fine on both, you'd know all about it if ANY car was released in the same numbers as a Corsa VXR if you could only run it on super.

I'm telling you now, if you run it on anything other than T99 or V-Power you will be doing it damage.

must be crap if thats true oliver.
they should tell customers about that.
i mean selling cars that you can't use normal petrol in and can only use 1 gear incase the gearbox breaks.

Ok, run my VXR on 95RON and you can physically feel how flat it is. It's mapped for 99RON, the standard cars are even mapped on 97RON so running it on 95 is NICHT GUT

Don't be daft ojc, think of all the non car people that run theirs on regular. It's people like you that start all these internet tales about cars, you should delete that other comment since it's clearly not true.

I'm telling you it's a performance car, petrol stations don't sell performance fuel just for the sake of it, if there wasn't people buying it they wouldn't sell it would they you helmet.

Fuck off with the name calling mate. Grow up.
If putting regular unleaded in 'does it damage' as you're claiming, why would super unleaded be, at most, recommended to be used? Surely there would be a sticker on the petrol cap saying 'super unleaded only'? Surely it would be a topic that would gather a lot of interest on these types of sites and because of that it would be general knowledge that 'regular unleaded damages VXRs'.
Don't talk pish. If you're still pushing it, come out with some proof.

They sell performance fuel for the cars that are mapped to run on it from factory. The VXR isnt.
People who think it makes that big a difference, its all in theyr head. They like to think it makes a difference to justify paying the extra price for it.
Its a placebo.

This is a point in stating that Super Unleaded is for Mugs!
