hi ave got a 1.2 8v and the belt has snapped whats the changes the valves pistons ect are fucked thanks

For the cost of a belt (about £20 Max?) Id try it, I can't remember if the SPi 1.2's are valve-safe or not.

everyone told me the 1.2 8v was a "safe" engine. What a load of bullshit.

Bent my valves so instead of fucking about with spring compressors, got a new head for cheap, plonked it on top, new water pump, belt, bish bash bosh. done

CAR WILL NOT START..............:(
