Changed the filter and filed the new one with fuel and it start and doesn't rev and runs ruff and cuts out  Anyone good with these?

Air locked buddy try cranking it over might kick the air fru and run if not a easy bleed sucking from the return pipe will sort it

did you replace the copper washers on the fuel feeds on the filter housing when you replaced it?
even if one washer i missing it will just draw in air and not start

mite be worth replacing them for what they cost, when i converted my 1.5td to a 1.7td i didnt replace one and it took me and the garage ages to find it. does it start at all now?

it'll start if i fill the filter but wont rev and sound nasty and will cut out

if your having to fill the filter then its drawing air in from the tank side so id personaly replace the copper washers one under the hoop bit and one on top of it under the bolt, that should fix it
