Pros
Look good (opinion)
Comfortable
Decent performance

Cons
Bad at handling (arb sorts this out?)
Turbo seals can be a bit of an issue
Thirsty
Probably fallen into the realms of chav money now?

That's from reading about people's on here, not owned one myself. Jambo and Seth have both had one, as has WarrenG

Driven my mates one, hated the throw of the gearstick.

can't really comment on handling of a standard one as his is on coillies and has LSD etc.

It was technically the best car I have ever owned. Needed boost solenoids and then bam. Spot on never missed a beat! It was reliable and excellent on the Mway. It was just so boring

I want another red car Chris, go buy one so I can nag you for months to buy it

had mine 4 years 66k on the origional turbo and is still fine.......... only changed the air flow meter (common) on it in 4 years extremely reliable for me this car has been..... fantastic looks and the seats are really supportive, people have moned about the rear view but tbh i cant see whay people complain its to be expected from most cars styles this way so just another thing for people to complain about really.

petrol ive found mine to not be not too bad ive heard again lots of complaints but if driven reasonable ive had 35mpg and thats me calculating it not the range finder on the computer in the car.... yes driven hard it is quite thirsty but lets be honest its a 200bhp car its never gonna be brilliant most 200bhp cars on the market would all be within 1-2 miles per gallon so like i say dont get the complaints..

good amount of toys... nice alloys...reasonable affordability to run id say.... servicing is good lots of rear leg room for passengers with decent sized boot..

performance is id say its a run of the mill 200bhp car..... its geared more higher and seems to pull best in 2nd 3rd and 4th so is a fantastic motorway cruiser and allways has power for overtaking...........

handling is ok i would say traction control kicks in to early and if you turn it off it becomes undrivable torque steer devil lol but i fitted a rear arb which sorted it out no end but all il say is there will be better drivers cars out there but im sure its by no means the worst...

ill thoroughly say ive enjoyed owning mine and it will be up for sale this year and ill miss it dearly the handling is not enough to for me to say its bad car when it has some good points that people forget about.......

Turbo that came off my SRI-T was on around 110k miles, and the seals were only just starting to do, was still boosting strong though.

tbh i would say its the poeple who have ragged them from cold and not cooled them down who are more likely to have killed there turbo's..... then they wonder why they have blown and then call the car un-reliable lol fact is if this is the case its not genuine reason to call it un-reliable in my opinion

After a year and 4 months Im still enjoying mine, had the front bcs go on me and had some boost issues after a garage messed around with it, but other than that mines been fine.

Im on 72k miles now and my turbo still hasn't given up the ghost yet but I'll be fitting a VXR unit next month.

They don't handle well in standard form, barge like handling comes to mind but I've heard alot of praise for the Whiteline ARB's.
