my friend has got a 5 door b 1.2 16v, and when you accelerate it sounds like it choking itself.
if you accelerate gradually its fine but if you go to set off fast it does nothing but pops back intop the airbox.
we have checked the following:
lambda
maf
all plugs
basically serviced it.
still doing it though. there is no eml on unless it is going up hill when it is struggling
anyone any ideas?

would say AFM 100% , 1.0 12v ones are the same im sure

x10xe and x12xe have a different part number stamped on the AFM, so are different internally.

Could be crank sensor too, as it won't really know when to fire the spark plugs if this has gone.
