hi there i no this has been asked a fair few times , but the side strips have been pulled off and left a white haze under the laquer , hot waters been tryed , any other ideas? cheers

if you lick it slowly it will remove the white haze.

Heat gun, its condensation under the paint, just dont hold it in one place for to long and have patience.
Mine had the white haze that you are talking about.
I used a heat gun for about 15 mins each side and it eventually went away
