I know another insurance thread, i'll delete when i get a couple of answers though.
Was bored so was doing some quotes on my insurance, i added my mum to my insurance even though she has an automatic license and it dropped considerably, anyone know if this is okay to do? even though she couldnt drive it due to only having an automatic license ?

It'll be reet. If she's a named driver, she doesn't HAVE to drive it.

Won't be ok, if your car is a manual.

Then in their eyes, she won't ever drive it thus invalidating the insurance surely.

Surely it wouldn't let you put someone with an auto license on the policy in the first place if it wasn't okay to do?
Plus couldn't I just say shes insured on it because shes learning to drive a manual? So is okay with l plates for her to use?

exactly this, she'll have provisional entitlement for a manual
