been on here a while so thought I'd better put up a thread, will take too long to go into all the details of what i've done so will skip over progress so far:

What last owner did:

How I got it:

Changed wheels:

Got some centre caps on and removed carbon bonnet:

Changed side reps and rear lights:

Changed wheels:

Fitted mudflaps:

Depo'd some headlights:

Took the halo's back out as I didn't like them!

Fitted new Stereo that takes USB stick so no need for CDs:

Got some Fogs the same sort of shape as headlight that need fitting:

Fitted my depo's:

Next on the list is fit my gsi skirts and paint arches, bumper trim and skirts gloss black, laquer and polish.

Not been doing much to the car recently due to bad weather so just sprayed a couple of small bits. Firstly my scuttle panel, didn't smooth it as there was too many curves\grills so primed it, painted it satin black then gave it a few coats of laquer:

Also painted my bootlid handle black, primed it and flatted it then painted it satin black and laqured it:

Next on the list to get some black paint are my arches, bumper inserts and door handles

Looks good mate, unsure as to why you painted bits satin black, then laquered. Would have been easier to just do them gloss black first.

I had a can of satin that I'd started using so finished it off instead of starting a new gloss

Good eye mate! I chipped it when I took vents back out to re-fit mid, should of left them out til I had put the mid back. Glad it's painted black and not another colour, will do for now til i paint arches and bumper inserts then will do it again

not been doin much to car as I've been skint! changed my front struts over today as I was getting annoyed with having to slow down to nothing for speed humps so swapped my 60 springs for 30s, took the skin off my knuckles so gave up and will do rears tomorrow! rides alot better now though

I found the fronts easy to do. It's always removing the rear springs that I find skins my knuckles lol.

The rear springs are on now and have changed brakes over for some 20 groove red dot discs and pads

Gave the calipers a coat of hammerite while I was there so they look nice and fresh aswell!

I need to re laquer my bonnet so put a spare on for now, give it a coat of matte black before it went on so it looks like I meant to change bonnet not like I've had a front ender!
