Done it and really enjoyed it... took the 3 day option too. Day 2 is a killer!

the new route i posted? 1st 2 days look bad, 3rd is flat
doing the proper route, we could shave a few miles off but might aswell do it right
got a new camelbak, helmet and lights today, awaiting new bike choices! cant wait

i did the W2W last year, which is Walney Island to Wear, i enjoyed it but it was hard work, was just hill after hill after hill especially coming through the pennines. one of them climbs was a gradual 5 mile climb and at the top was Tan Hill Inn (highest pub in the britian)
as Half Pint says day 2 is a killer, just make sure you have plenty of stuff too keep your energy levels up, ive found Jelly Babies are good  ate loads of them when i did it. if youve not already got any id get some padded shorts cause your ass will hurt!
