I cant release it freely and I don't want to tear my roof lining or anything so is there and easy way to get this off without breaking anything?
Thanks

I don't have sunroof either. Windows do a good enough job
anyway, I take it you just stick two screw drivers in each side and undo some clps there?
I just need to take the bulp out for painting.

Just for refernece for others really:
I have the long rectangular interior light. I have managed to remove it without any problems. there were three metal 'catches' that go out over the edge of the roof liner holding it in place on the long sides and a metal catch on each side. Lever the roof liner over these catches with a screwdriver and the light cover lowers out.
Thanks for the advice folks!
