Any one been recently? Thinking of going down there with Lisa on Sunday afternoon and coming back monday afternoon.

Not the best weather for down there i know but heard its lovely and looks pretty good!

Any reccomendations on where to eat/have a nice drink? E.g overlooking the channel or anything?

Ta!

I went last summer. I loved this bar: http://sixtymillionpostcards.com/

Can't recommend where to stay as we kipped in this shit hole hotel which was about £5 a night, with breakfast. If you're going, I think it's the law you have fish and chips by the sea

I go to Bournemouth a few times a year.... And I used to live in Christchurch.

Very expensive to stay in a half decent hotel on the east bank. £100 per night for a b&b?!?

Nightlife is good if you are a student. But pretty poor if you want a nice meal out with the missus.

I know of a couple of decent areas for food but I'm on the phone atm so will post areas tomorrow

Bournemouth is pretty shite for a night out meal with the lady unless you want KFC. Some nice little places surrounding though.

We could eat Harry Ramsdens together on the seafront in Bournemouth one day OJC! Then maybe go for a cocktail in Aruba above the pier, maybe afterwards have a walk down the prom.
