right.... corsa got scrapped and im bored of not owning a car

i have 4.5k burning a hole in my pocket, dont need a car but want one. dont want to save up much more.

boxes to tick...

4wd or rwd (only ever had fwd so change is a necessity)
fast/tunable (last cars are golf gti 230bhp, vec gsi 210bhp, cupra i think 200bhp, ep3 type r 200bhp looking for around 7 secs to 60)
insurance group 17/18 max (old groups that is)
reliable-ish (no nasty huge bills)
doesnt matter how many seats or if its coupe/saloon/convertable (no kids ect)
must look nice and be available in reasonable/good condition with under 80000miles (not spending 4.5k on a shed)
must be new ish... say 2000 as a bench mark (had my fill of rust)

just like to add its a toy so fun is a big plus
fuel isnt really and issue 20+mpg will do

GO!!!

I'd say 95 onwards to be honest as 2000 eliminates a lot of good, slightly older cars.

Astra gsi . . . C'mon everyone fire away

but 200hp standard, cheap to mod, cheap to fix, no massive problems, just standard vaux shite sensors. Poor mpg.
Or maybe an older s3? But those older 1.8t seem to reach about 250hp before coming dodgey.

Woops, sorry. Can't u get old Audi tt's for that kinda money now.
Have you owned a astra gsi? Saying there not fun seems abit unfair, they seem to gets so many mixed reviews
