Needing a windscreen on the ibiza and never had any experience with widscreen companies. Anyone got any I should avoid or anyone reccomended? Was just going to go with autoglass

i went with autoglass and had no problems. they sorted everything out with the insurance company

Give highland windscreens a try mertin

They're based in inverness,. my mate runs it.

Very very good prices on screens without having to go through the insurance.

ShEp, do they do insurance too? My windscreen excess is only £70, I doubt he can beat that

Whats the point of paying for Windscreen cover and then not using it? I've had one on practically every car I've had

Pay the windscreen excess and go with Autoglass.Thats why you have that cover.
You wont get it cheaper.

Wasnt very good prices when i foned for a quote Intercity beat his price by a good bit


As said Mertin your not going to get any cheaper than £70 for a screen and fitting so just go through your insurance

Do you actually have to have a crack or can you get it replaced using the excess because of a shitty windscreen with massive smears in the rain?! I literally can't see out of mine when it rains

Thats my main worry is leaking, happens to quite a few I think. Il be keeping a close eye on it once fitted for leaks and also wind noise if seals dodgy. And if it leaks il be demanding an interior valet

Never heard of getting one for £60 before? Always well into the £100's is it not?
Anyway just booked it through National Windscreens through insurance. I imagine their all pretty busy just now with auto windscreens going into adminstration
