Hi all im new to this site and im in desperate need and advice.
I brought a corsa 15td with a starting problem on occasions when i turn the key there is a single click from my starter motor and i have to rock the car in gear to get it to start. I have replaced the starter put a new battery on also earthed the battery to the body and earthed the gearbox to the battery also i have changed the 60 amp blade fuse in the fuse box by the brake resivour but the problem still happens.
i am lost now and was told by a friend to join and rack someones brains on here as this is the best site any help or ideas would be very welcome .
thanks for your time ccfckev

Check the ring gear teeth, if they're chewed up it could cause it to jam at certain places. need to remove the starter or inspection plate (if it has one), rotate the engine by hand and have a look at all the teeth.
