I'll start....

Serviced/cleaned my bosses ophthalmoscope this week (mine's exactly the same) and I thought some people on here might be interested to see how the internals look/work.....



I took the other half of it apart too, but forgot to take pictures as it got a bit fiddly

One of these, Cuts everything to size

One of these to make the shaped part of the frame, Long machine at the back is an oven to soften the plastic.


One of these to cut "V" notches into the profile to fit mullions/transonms into the frame.


one of these to weld the v notches in place


one of these to make drainage holes in the frames


one of these to weld the corners up


one of these to clean them all off with

General mechanical fitter's tool set - spanners, sockets and ratchets, pliers, hacksaws, just about any metal hand tool you can think of.

edit: Started a job making these things on Thursday, 10 e-points to anyone that can guess what they are without clicking image properties
