hi guys just wondering i have a corsa b 1litre 3cylinder and the cv joints are clicking quite badly . i have been to a motor factors but they are about £50 each side just for outers . deos anyone know if i get some from another car will the fit ? eg. a 1.2 or a 1.4 and so on . also would it be just as well changing the shaft ?

if the driveshafts from 1.4/1.6 16v fits i've got a set of driveshafts you can have for £50 + postage, good cv's on them and in good working order

Splines will be wrong iirc.

1.0 shafts have differnt Inner CVs, but 1.2 up etc shafts will fit the box fine. Just change the whole shaft since you can pickup shafts cheaper.

£50 each side would be delaer prices I'd have thought. I paid £20 for a mk3 astra gsi one at my local factors, shop around a bit I'd say.

it was £47 each side just for the outers from D&A factors in perth .. pretty gutted .. ill shop around ...aw06 so i can use shafts from a 1.2 ?
