last time i tried to remove one it was all loose apart from at the bottom near the ash tray was like a metal strip that was attatched to the dash how does this come away ?
last one i just broke off but i dont want to do that to my car

If its the one behind the airbag unit under the ashtray take the unit out and will be a screw behind that. Or if its the bar that goes into driverside foot well peel the carpet back near the ash tray there will be a nut there

is it actually easy to take a dash out? what about dash loom and heater stuff etc does that all stay in one place anybody got photos of a step by step?
