As the astra is starting to give me a bit of trouble And sick of looking like a boy racer, Went and put a deposit down on this.

Lexus is200 sport, full heated leather and only 43,000 miles on the clock.

Just waiting for the finance to go through. Dealer told me to take whatever I wanted off my car, As long as it didn,t look a mess!

I'm not too bothered about the fuel consumption. Hardly do many miles anyway, Just wanted something bigger, more reliable, looks better and drives smoother than my Astra.

Will let you know if I need any parts!

Think I will need a nice set of mats for it, The ones in it are a bit grubby and the rears are missing. Probably be a fortune from Lexus though

The carpet ones ideally. Never liked the rubber ones as they smell a bit.

Think the ones in it just need cleaning up properly I think. Trying not to spend too much on this one

I went off these when they caused probably 50% of the cars on the road to copy their rear lights

Always used to like them upto that point too.

Thanks

Will probably be on a tight budget for a few weeks so it won't be straight away.

Trying not to look at them modified in anyway, That way i won't want to spend anything on it. Just want a reliable car just to drive around.

Was up at the dealer for 5895, Got him down to 5000 as I seen a mark on the back bumper and a slight curb mark on one of the wheels. Got 1200 for the Astra so there is 3800 on the drip. Getting a full service, 6 months tax and a supaguard treatment thrown in.

Gooing to nip up and see what the score is with the finance. Bit of luck I should have it by tuesday.

fuel consumption is high, but i bloody love mine, by far best car iv owned.

Build quality is immense, mines just flew through the MOT, only thing iv have had to replace is the battery.

You def need to get the smoked rears, i dont know why they ever made the chrome ones

To be honest, looking through last night i was seeing them going for more with more miles on them. and they wasn't the sport with the leather.

Just want something that is going to last me a while.

they last for well over 200k if looked after. personally im not a fan of the full leather i prefer the SE model with half alcantara, the 2tone steering wheels on the sport arent to my taste either.

As for modifying you need deep pockets as even the simply things like lowering isnt cheep, i just went for the factory optional extra TTE springs which lower it 30mm

Just how juicy are they?

Almost bought one years ago. They're cheap enough now, might get an auto to leisurely cruise around in.
