My Nikes were once white and and now minging. They are mainly fabirc/suedey type material.

Also after last nights gig they stink of beer etc

So I ask the knowledge of CS. Can I put them in the wash?

Do I need to do anything special with taking the liners out of the trainers or anything?

I don't want to ruin them completely

I am going to go and buy a cheap pillow case for this project.

If I put some tyre shine on the rubber sole when they are dry would this count as detailing my trainers?

I put mine in on 30 degrees and a nice setting (fragile or some shit) and they came out spotless...SPOTLESS, but then destroyed them by putting them in the tumble dryer, the soles expanded/the glue melted and it fell apart

Put some tennis balls inside them.

Stops them loosing their shape in the wash

I don't fancy buying tennis balls as well for this project. I will go investigate prices.

I can actually smell the beer on them from across the room. This project needs to start soon.

I put them infront of the fire - or upside down, ontop of the fire (obviously not a open on)!

Takes about a day to dry but should be ok.

I have already spent £2.50 on pillow cases to clean the fuckers. Not buying more cleaning bits unless they can be used on my car

I think I will put a little bit of detergent in but no fabric conditioner

If it fucks them up I will just buy new trainers
