if your looking for muscle mass. you want to be doing a lot of power lifting and eating a lot of protein. fish is the best for getting protein. Although red meat has more like beef etc it takes about 36 hours to go through the system where as fish only takes 8. also chicken breast/ fillets are good. should invest in a forman grill.

you don't get big and toned, your body can only adapt one way at a time.

so you're best off eating shit loads and getting big in a few months, then doing cardio and toning up

I used to do just weight lifting, none of this diet and that and all it did was tone me so if you wannabe big, you have to do more.

General rule of thumb if you're looking to put weight on is 2g of protein per lb of body weight a day

I've gone arse for tit

Used to be too skinny, did some training, got slightly toned, but kind of hit a brick wall because I didn't have enough weight.

Now I'm at the putting weight on stage. then train more.

If that fails, roids, fuck it.

Thats the problem, all the newbies see some big, toned and tanned guy and they want to be the same within a week.
I wouldnt recommend any steriod to any newbie. Id recommend going for at least a good year or 2 before touching the stuff.
Go for the protein shakes or weight gainer alog with eating well and if that works out then a few months after take creatine as well.
