Just tried to get onto sickipedia on my iPhone and it's linked straight to an O2 site saying i need to pay £1 to get my phone age verified?

Anybody ever come across this? First it's happened in the 3 years I've had iPhones.

I had to verify my age for sites when I was with them
Only involved a phone call though and didn't cost anything

Aye, I was trying to check some odds for a bet the other week and it came up with the age verification thing, I was in town at the time and went to the o2 shop. They sorted it for me, didn't have to pay anything... clearly thought I was just trying to get on porn sites though.

i had it on my phone, just pay the quid on a CC then they knock £3 off your bill iirc so winner

Nice one, will pop into town later. Sickipedia app is crap. It's quicker to load the site with no wifi.

Im with tmobile and just noticed whilst i was on my account online and it has within settings an option where it blocks 18+ sites. Ive never had any pop ups asking me either so its probably o2s way of trying to make more money.
