I have to say in fairness to Arsenal that its pretty impressive they maintain their top 4 position with such little Net spend. Below WBA, Wolves, Stoke and Fulham ffs

Cosmo would say it was wrong and then somehow try to tell us that Liverpool actually have the lowest spend in the league

Aye Its true though, but i think its begging to tell trophy wise. Could get away with it before but with the recent explosion of money into football, its becoming harder and harder to be frugal with cash and still win things.

They don't need to be that tight either. They can release the purse strings a bit and still retain respect from everyone.

£2.6M per season since the glazers took over

Also i think Arsene Wenger should be labelled the 'Wheeler Dealer' not 'Arry £5m profit a season is some going.

Definitely good NET, United are generally good at getting inflated prices for their players (not necessarily referring to Ronaldo here!). Liverpool's net spend of circa £50m since 2006 show's quite clearly that Rafa had to wheel and deal alot considering our 2005 squad needed ALOT of investment and we never really built up good squad depth. City's is a joke.
