Heard this news a little while ago and just had it confirmed.
Pete has been killed in an accident involving his motorbike and another car.
He will be most well known on here for being one of the founder members of PVD. His ambition and drive caused the company to grow very quickly and it unfortunately become unmanageable and eventually folded. He went on to stay involved in the scene and worked on a number of other ventures since that time.
He was also a key member of the early days of this web site, having been very active online and closely involved in the early meets.
I appreciate that some members did fall foul of some of his endeavours but I would like to remember him as not only an audacious and driven businessman but also someone who shared our love of cars and the scene generally.

Gutted he messed up but always had time for an 18 year old Ojc to answer my stupid questions and he organised everything for my Corsa B to have the combat kit fitted.
Saw he commented on one of Joffs status the other week on facebook

I find it weird to see the profile of a member that has died, seeing when they last used the siTe etc. It was the same for the guy from Scotland who recently died

Just in case anyone is unclear the significance of this guy, check his position in the Member List.

RIP Pete
As Ollie said he always had time to answer peoples questions and he certainly addressed all my silly questions regarding an XE conversion back in the day when they were relatively rare.

I remember him. I met him years ago at the big max power event at the NEC and bought bonnet lifters off him at his stand. He gave me discount when I said I was a member on here and he remembered my name lol.
Condolences to his family & friends.
