allright lads, managed to get that 1.6 sport in the end. i will set up a project thread at some point.
anyways the car is now on 69k the cambelt was done at 25k. when will it need doing again? cheers

Just had mine done along with crank seals oil pump gasket and everything else down that side of the engine and cost £493 £240 of that was labour so if you can do it yourself or know some who can it will be a lot cheaper.

Do it yourself. I just did my focus 1.8 16v, it's piss easy! cost £50 for the belt, tensioner and idler pulley.

ebay best bet , got belt , tensioners , water pump for about £60 quid

i would i left mine till it had done 35 odd then last week it went pop
