i bought a double din stereo for my vectra last week and it did not work .
last night my mate bought one for his bora and when we fitted it into his car his dash lights stayed on so i said put it in mine to see if it did the same and it did not work!!
ive tried 3 other stereos in now and they all dont work but the standard stereo does
anyone any idea as to why this is?

Are you using a wiring harness for it? if your not the wires might not be connecting when you plug it all in

also if the red and orange wires on the stereo harness have connectors in them change them so red is in orange and vise versa as vaux use power and memory wires different way round to other cars
