Fuel duty has now dropped by 1p and the planned 4p rise in April has been delayed until 2012

I will now have an extra 25p a week to spend

in fact it's actually 6p including the 5p inflation rise so 6 x 36 litres = £2.16 a week.

May have dropped one p but will soon creep back up with the drop being met by the tax on crude oil

I really dont get why people have hardons over this. It makes no difference to anything and most stations put their pumps up last night by 1p

Can I be the first to say how pointless higher octane diesel is concidering diesel doesn't have a RON rating. Save ya cash

Yeah it does. The RON figure states the fuels reluctance to combust under compression, so diesel has a relatively low RON number.

I'd be more than happy to pay £1/litre. Think they should leave it at that tbh.
