hi new here. never signed up as tries before ages ago and wouldnt let me with hotmail email. now im on

have had few corsas and plenty of vauxhalls

just picked up a 1.2 8v spi needing a gearbox. i have an astra 16 8v spi. anyone know if the 16 will go in on the 12 loom and change the brain?

ano for all the power gain it will offer it hardly be worth it. but if there was no wiring to be done it do it since its there

the wiring should be the same aswell as the mounts but your better of putting a 16 ecu in to make it run better or even make it run at all

provided it's a C12NZ and your 16 is a C16NZ then it'll bolt straight in on original mounts and loom.

use 16 ecu though. You'll need the key chip and transponder too if your c16 had an immobiliser (from 1996 onwards iirc)
