Morning,

I have started playing squash 3 times a week. I started off with the cheapest racket from sportsdirect but now I want to upgrade as I am playing more than I thought I would.

What would people recommend for £30-40? Which brands are better than others?

Cheers

I use a Prince, was about £50-60 from my gym. It's fantastic, I really can't complain about it. The rental ones from the gym are dunlops, and they've cracked etc, quality must be terrible on them.

I picked it up for £35 though, great racket. I also have a Browning which was my first racket, but now just used as a backup.

What would people choose from there?

I have the £9.99 Dunlop one currently. I fancy upgrading it as I tried a different racket the other day and it was a lot nice to use.

I like the look of the Wilson nPower at £35. or the Prince at £39.99.

Or that ebay shop. They sell a lot of Browning's for decent money.

Opinions?

Doesn't produce as much power as my old Dunlop did, but it's lighter and gives more control.

Not played in about 3 years as my old playing partner decided to leave, would love to get back into it.

Its a Prince TT i have but red & white. Must change the colours each year or something.

I used to play in the league, but due to not being active you get kicked out, i've re-applied recently.

How come your partner didn't bother with it anymore Tiesto

He was majorly under the thumb, and it was difficult to arrange days he could make, in the end called it quits.

Tiesto, you're not too far from Coventry which is my local venue.

Maybe you fancy a game some time?

Is this one worth looking at? Or should I buy the one from Ebay?

I kind of wanted to pick it up after work tomorrow.
