I am looking for a new Corsa sport, but don't know which one to go for!

I have mainly been looking for a 1.6 but there isn't many out there! Cause of this I have been looking at the 1.4s. But unsure because I had set out for the bigger engine! Is there much of a power difference between the two?

Just unsure of what to do, any suggestions will help!

Hmmm I don't know what to do! Is it worth waiting for a decent 1.6 do you think?

Yeh thats the reason I don't wanna go for the 1.4 cause the 1.6 is better to tune! And I know if I bought the 1.4 as soon as I got it the 1.6 that I had been waiting for will come up lol

if you're not modifying, 1.6 is in the higher tax band, something to consider if you're not bothered about the power (someone mentioned there isn't much between them)

I found a red 1.6 Sport on AT the other day for £450 but it didn't say the mileage. Was a part-ex to clear job. They are out there

I would get a 1.6 out of the two engines though, otherwise you'll end up modding the 1.4 engine to 1.6 power anyway

Ive had both and in standard form the 1.6 is much much better to drive. I done the breathing mods on the 1.6 and it was a nippy car.

Yeh i seen that as well Dave, looked to good to be true lol. Think I am gonna wait for the right 1.6 to come up!

And yeh that does make sense about modding the 1.4

Cheers for the replies

i paid 450 for my silver 1.6, v reg, 60mm jamex kit, decat ss exhaust, gsi calipers, about 66k due to all MOT's but had 106k tigra clocks fitted for some reason. loads of test left, and i just taxed it today. is quite hefty to tax i must say (112.75 for 6) but i feel i got a real bargain with the car, caught it on ebay as it hadnt met its £650 reserve, so went and barterd him rite down

Yep, it's mint! Try and find one with less milage.

I've only just bought it but I would consider selling for the right price.
