Brush or one of those sprayer things?

Used a sprayer before from BnQ and it was shit but got around 20 panel and a shed to do so need whatever takes up the least of my week of work

Found this paint pretty cheap off ebay, cheaper than BnQ anyway:

I used the spray on mine and it was a very medioka result. The one panel that was painted by brush looks 100% better and more consistant.

It also goes everywhere. If there is the slightest of winds you have to be VERY careful otherwise you could have the neighbours round wanting you to clean all thier windows/uPVC etc

Brushes are definetly better. My Dad tried using a sprayer and there was very slight gaps in the fence which sprayed the neighbours PVC door and he had to clean it off, thus wasting any time he'd saved by using a sprayer Oh & it looked shit!

The sprayers are only good if you slide the panels out of the concrete posts one by one and spray them with a sheet behind them, other wise it goes everywhere!

Just use a brush, much less hassle!

Dip them. It's the only way to do it properly. get some Visqueen and make a frame from wood. fill it with the stain and dip each one, letting it drip dry before fitting it back in.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

I would just paint one or two a night when u get back from work, spary will make a mess and not be as thick.

As stes says dipping it best option and very little work required.

I could see me using a shit load of paint dipping them. Managed to pick up 2 x 12l tubs of Ronseal fence paint from BnQ for £12 each with 15% off so £20 for both, apparently each tub is enough for 15 fence panels. Was expecting it to be a lot more expensive that that.
