VX 200 Turbo. Read the reviews of experienced journos and pro drivers - the unanimous verdict is that it mashes the Lotus Elise, even the more powerful versions. Not just quicker, but better handling and agility. If I had the money, I'd buy one tomorrow...

ye defo VX220 turbo like andys says, and thats a proper sports car

and also like to add, Mr J.Clarkson hates vauxhall as well all know, and not even him could slag the VX220 turbo off.

Go elise or maybe CTR. Depends whether you can afford the running costs of a turbo car or Normally aspirated really

My old man 2 weeks ago bought an X reg S2000 for £18,000. IMO you couldn't really get anything better for the money as it was parked next to the guys Ferrari 355 next door and it still looked nice. So either that or a second hand M3, but you'd probably have to go as old as about R reg for the M3.

That's one of the most stupid comments I've read in a long time. Even the most hardened Vaux-hating journalists who spend their whole lives doing nothing but driving the best cars around have lavished praised on this car. You might hold irrational prejudices, but you shouldn't be proud of the fact!

VX200 Turbo sounds an awesome car. I've first hand experience of the engine and thats a peach. I can only assume that coupled to an excellent and uncompromising chassis it's a complete weapon.
