Quite like them. I was on a stag day yesterday and one of the lads turned up in one. Numberplate M888 THU. They sit low!

I cant see any of the pics at work so had to guess at which one would be the figures.

Quite hard actually.

The Corsa was a sardine can, with rock hard suspension, rattly and noisy as fuck.
But gripped like something rotten, could be turned into a corner/chuck it about and it would stick, cock a wheel and be out of it like a bullet but struggle on atraights and grunt. But I ragged it to fuck to get the most out of it.

The Astra was a completely different drive. To keep it in boost every corner was taken in 4th gear, except the last one(camp?) which I done in 5th gear. The car felt very smooth and flat, neutral and well balanced and the brakes are just ficking awesome. The T1r's grip very well considering.
I only ever really used the revs from 2500 to 5000 in this.

I am very impressed with the whole package of the car.


And my gearbox is still fine.

Its an internet myth.

47.1 from my VXR. After track time it was down to about 26. Made it home with it back up to 31 though

my mates got a 60 reg and he gets 61mpg if careful enough. its the 1.7cdti sri spec
