Just got round to taking some photos.
So after taking some inspiration from BEARDY's white corsa i wanted to make a spoiler that would give me some improved downforce at the rear but still in keeping with the car and without making it look like a shopping trolley!
Im no aero tech and with only limited tools i think it came out alrite..
Will have to wait till i get it out of track to see if there is any improvement but i have 5 adjustments from flat to full on air brake
All opinions welcome
parts used : 2 gsi spoilers, 1 universal spoiler off ebay and some sheet metal
tools used : axel grinder, dremel and a drill
happy with the outcome although i want to paint it matt black instead of gloss as it doesnt match the rest of the black on my car.

i did think to do it all white, but the bolts used have black heads on them and i also thought id follow the black and white theme that runs through my car

havent thought about it to be honest. But It would be money that could be spent elsewhere. Another trackday or new 16" road wheels as my current ones catch on my wilwood brakes

I did some research, lumma do one (same one as BEARDY has), but its only for looks really and would give you very little, if any extra downforce. Plus it cost something like £350 not painted

I did think about making more, but it was very time consuming. Took me over 3 days, cutting, refitting, deciding what the f**k i was trying to do. I knew what i wanted to achieve but finding out the best way to do it was the hardest part. Looks simple but it definatly wasnt, although now i know what to do i sopose it would be alot easier and quicker.

Its got inspection holes undernealth the gsi spoiler (best seen in pic 3), inside its nut and bolted, one each side of the spoiler. once undon i can then raise it up or lower it down.

You need the poly carb windows now.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

looks good, effect will be minimal unless your cornering at 120+
even if it did work you want down force on the front idealy were the power and turning friction are
