Not really, it's just unusual, white is normally a solid colour. Not sure why I asked anyway as it won't affect the price much.

Depending on the extent you are going to anything from £1k upwards. Remember you'll have all the door shuts to do, this is where the time/expense comes in. A respray in the same colour doesn't have this issue as you normally hide the join between old and new paints on the inside of the pillars.

my corsa had respray from black to white , archs were 50 per corner , 80 for sideskirts , engine bay an extra £400, around £1500 for the lot inc door shuts , windows out , boot floor

It is always cheaper if you can do the prep work yourself, thats what makes the respray dear.
