Is there any chance we can have a 'Preview Post' button available to us please?
As that option is only available when we Edit our posts?

Something Ian would need to do, although what do you need to preview...whether pics show up correctly or something else?

Basically just the layout of the thread/post. Even if it's just text or images & text.

The option's there for editing existing posts, so I don't think it would be too hard to implement for new posts/threads?

Would be a lot more difficult, the post id is an auto increment and it's not instantiated for new posts until they've been committed.

Couldn't you use another table (duplicate the boards post table perhaps?) for preview posts and use that table to generate a preview page (example - >HERE<)? Committing/'Posting' would insert into the boards post/topic table and delete the row in 'preview' table.
I can see where Nathy is coming from, it certainly would be handy especially when doing large image posts etc But granted it is a lot of work....

I can do it with the existing posts table and just and a flag in somewhere to ignore it on the other reads. Or use a temp table, or just pass it about on the session before a db write, will decide when I do it.

I always mess up img tags so would be handy to be able to check the post
