I've driven all my cars hard at some point, the VXR is the only one to have the box go tits up.

thing is, the majority probably will be ok, but that doesnt mean a large (unnaceptable) portion wont go at an unreasonably early age.

point in case being 2 of my 106 gti gearboxes went on me before 60k , my mates only 106gti box lasted to 128k

I have a constant whine in my Lexus. Comes from the front passenger side. Strange thing is it follows me everywhere!

Firstly, xbox360.

Secondly, you've had loads of gearboxes and loads of turbos fail.

Does that not suggest that you possibly buy bad cars?

So now you are trying to tell me that 106 gti gearboxes dont have a tendancy to be weak because iv blown up two turbos

i can tell you now 106 gti gearboxes are weak.

i can also tell you that xbox 360's are also prone to failure, not sure iv ever said otherwise
