Watching chop shop on tv, anyone done anything like that to a car before? any cool project threads where people have changed a cars design and not just parts? I don't just mean a badboy bonnet etc either, doesn't have to be corsa related

Could you do better? The series is cheesy, but what they produce from scratch, and the designs are unique. Some are shit - like the corsa eco car thing, others like the original car in Bangladesh and the Crapi looked reasonable. Better than alot of kit cars.

It's pretty inspirational though how they change the complete look of a car, all the fabricating, it looks shitty when they do it but the end result is pretty cool, bernie isn't a paki lol

so has anyone done something like this or know of project threads?

seen it once, they put a mondeo engine in a fiesta but used the mondeo subframe front suspension and driveshafts for some reason giving the front wheels massive camber, it looked like a dangerous bodge to me

The cars come out nice? I've never seen one car come out nice tbh.

Tomonova has done one iirc, and has a chopped up Corsa thats been sitting for a while waiting to be done , theres no progress threads though because hes gay.

some of them do look dangerous, there's a reason it's very unsafe to cut cars in half and weld them up etc

Were doing this at college at the moment! We got a ford escort estate, chopped off the back into a pick up, welded a panda tailgate onto it and then put a stupid hot rod bonnet on it!

disagree, sorry. I don't think putting stupid amounts of ICE, "bling" wheels, lambo doors etc on cars is good, it's chavvy and common. Liked the show when I was younger but it's bad taste
