ok so im aware that this is like my 8th post about food & they usualy tend to make you hungry.
so i had a brain wave whilst making my sandwich which consisted of placing philidelphia onto a slice of turkey, wrapping it up like a tortilla wrap and placing it under the grill to melt.. then various other things that id never usualy have on a sandwich like onions and stuff.. sorry, enough about the sandwich

What is your best dish? can be something youve created from an idea or a twist on an original recipe

Pics if possible.. even better if you can include the recipe for me to try

2 slice of heavily buttered bread, 2 cooked to perfection burgers, 1 cheese hamwich nice and crispy.

Hamwich in between the burgers, topped with West Indian Hot Pepper Sauce. Slab together and there you have it, meaty goodness with cheese and hot stuff!

Thai style sirloin steak

Gridle a sirloin steak to your liking.

mix in a pot
juice of 1 lime
finely chopped 2 chillis
finely chopped 2 cloves of garlic
Grated thumb size piece of ginger including the juices
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 table spoons soy sauce

Once steak is done place on a plate and cut into slices but not all the way through.
Pour on made up sauce above and leave for a couple of minutes.

Serve on a bed of Pak Choi with a dollop of nice creamy mash to the side.
Pour over remaining juices from the plate steak has rested on.

Quite possibly my favourite ever dish.

They are easy to make, have a go! I just use a basic sponge mix.

4oz caster sugar, 4oz margarine, vanilla essence - beat together until light and fluffy
Add 2 eggs, 4oz self raising flour ( or 3oz flour and 1oz cocoa for chocolate ones) and a teaspoon of baking powder
Mix it until light and fluffy and then spoon into cases, about 2 level tablespoons in each case, bake for approx 20 mins at gas mark 5

For icing I just about 50th of butter (not marg) and icing sugar and whatever favouring and colouring you want.

For the chocolate rocky road ones, I melt 200g of chocolate and add about 3/4 to the butter and icing sugar. Stick whatever goodies you want in the top and drizzle the leftover melted chocolate on the top. Crunchie goes a bit gooey btw.

The icing got to be quite thick so you can pipe it.

The above mix should make about 12 cakes.
