basically just an engine mounted in the car with no running gear ecu etc fitted....

worth about 2.5k tops in that state

Thats the way I was looking at it. Keep the outside looking standard or poverty spec and have all the power under the bonnet.

The corsa C z12xe ecu is the same as the astra G GSi ecu with a different map on so can be retained and just remaped by someone who knows what they are doing iirc

that wont take a ot of work to get going tbh, some hubs and a remapped 1.2 ecu will have it running
