Dont get me wrong, I love motorbikes.
The road I live on has a lot of accidents, a few fatalities and a 50mph speed limit. The road also has numerous farms, a lot of farm machinery and tractors round blind corners
Can I just mention its a B Road.
Why the fuck even after all the warnings do motorcyclists go past my barn, some in excess of 100mph? At the minute there are about 70 Motorbikes a day at least that go past and I reckon only about 20% actually do the speed limit. Do they not realise how much more vunerable they are than car drivers or are they just fucking stupid?

No, didn't you know? Speed limits don't apply to motorbikes.
You'll get some idiot in here telling you how it's safer for a biker dressed all in black to be doing 100 in a 60 yadayadayada but 99% of them get on my tits as well.

Time and a place, this road Tiger is talking about clearly isn't. Yet 99% of bikers think they're above the law/crashing

i had a biker try and lecture me today for his terrible driving
you see him pulling out infront of me going round a roundabout is my fault and i should be aware of bikers
he got told to fuck off but the attitude of them on the road is actually shocking, do they honestly believe that its all motorists faults when they stack it?

i like the ones who filter through the tiniest gap even though all the traffic around them are doing 70-80mph.
they own the road.

I admit, I'm no angel but if I do break the speed limit it's only where I know the road, conditions are good and I risk only myself. Im thinking about the bikers, what I'm saying is they think they are invincible on the bikes. I would never take the liberties that the bikers do on the same stretch of road. They are currently a liability to themselves and other road users, bit of sunshine sends them hellbent on driving flat out everywhere.

TBH, I thrash the shit out of mine when I can, but never overtake round stupid areas and only filter though maybe 5mph max traffic and never roast it if there is farms around as basically there is always shit on the road.
I would say bikers actually read the road a shit load better though, I realise myself when in the car loads of "information" about your surroundings are lost.

I wouldn't care if they went around killing themselves quietly, but the fact that there are all these Think Bike adverts and stickers everywhere just annoys me.

Thats because 40% of bike deaths are caused by car drivers!

i lost two biker mates,
blasting past a farm on a corner, farmer had pulled out with his plough on the back, bikes went into it at over 70,
bikers at fault sadly.

Like I said at the start of the post, I love bikes. My dad was a biker, a lot of my very good buddys are bikers, I have nothing against bikers, I just wish they would respect the road a little more as if they hit a car / tractor then its likely they will be dead and the car driver will be unhurt / tractor undamaged. They need to respect their lives a little more.

Thats because 40% of bike deaths are caused by car drivers!
And the majority being caused by Darwin award candidates then.

Most do tend to drive like cocks, but loads are great.
Too many of them don't ride their bikes often enough, so lack the experience.

They can kill themselves for being stupid aye, but getting killed by people just not looking is worse I would say.

I can honestly say I have more near hits when riding my bike sensibly than when I'm going faster than I should be.

bikes do speed more than cars probably, but cars are always speeding too. At least a biker is only risking their own life (in most cases...unless they take out a car driver etc with them), as opposed to some twats you get speeding with a baby seat in the back seat with a kid in. -_-
I've had lots of near misses when riding bikes, however I ride them, always get cars cutting you up, pulling into your lane, pulling out on you, just not seeing you, car drivers are the reasons most bikers die, not bikers speeds.
