if you are the red car turning right, its always on quiet back lanes with no markings down the middle of the road and usually only wide enough for one car, can you go down either exit? obviously the usual far side exit you would take is designed unnaturually to turn into but if you choose the nearest one you could potentially conflict with the car already coming
i normally go down the "wrong" side one anyway

You have to let the blue car out, it's not your road if your the red car.

I would be taking the further one tbh unless there was two lanes marked out on the nearest one.

You should be looking down the road your turning into, keep over to the left. Not keeping to the natural apex of the corner it's a junction. Then you would see the car before you turn.
If you can't see it when you've done that, then it's not really a problem, because your on the road once the driver in the blue car has seen you.

Its against the highway code to reverse onto a main road so they will have to reverse miles if need be, this will hold up in court!

Don't use the road if you don't understand it.

Always major to minor except where you turning into minor will impede the progression of existing cars on the minor road as above.

Common sense here really, if you can make the 'unnatural' turn in one go then do that. If not then I'd go forward to let the blue car out then reverse back up to turn right.
