Right guys if this doesn't sell whole in next week or two it will be broken. This thread is to gauge interest before I take the decision




Engine package
Cavalier Turbo C20LET engine, runs sweet. Pulls well, rebuilt in 2009 with brand new oversized forged pistons (86.5mm) new bearings, gaskets. Z20LET injectors, enlarged tophat, metal headgasket, metal water pipe for rear of block, Non-porous GM head. Comes with turbo, ecu (evo 5 I think?), loom, manifolds, pipercross induction kit, dizzy. Also has single vee setup for alternator and PAS, making this ideal for Nova/Corsa conversion. Also includes forge FMIC kit for Nova/Corsa. £1300, or £1500 with F28

Good mechanical F28, converted to F20 speedo ring so will read correctly on a Corsa or Nova conversion £300
Equal length shafts £80
As new Roose coolant hoses (2pce) £40
As new Roose turbo to AFM hose £40
As new Roose turbo coolant hoses (2pce), £80
As new Roose ancillary hose kit £TBA
Custom exhaust, downpipe back, £150
Poly bushed Corsa F28 gear linkage with rose jointed metal bar, £50
Genuine BBS edition 100 17" wheels. ET42, 5x110, just refurbed at great expense, brand new proxes all round again at great expense, £800

As for the rolling shell, I'll offer it as a complete car minus engine and 17's for a grand. For that you'll get

Seam welded/strengthened X-reg shell in Arden blue
1.4 on logbook
5-stud rear disc beam (polybushed)
5-stud front legs, ready to accept any big-block shafts
Tie bar lowering kit
Coilovers all round (FK if I remember rightly)
Polybushed front end, including brand new poly bushes for steering rack
GSi kit, including brand new from Vauxhall front bumper. All been smoothed
GSi spoiler
Freshly sprayed wings, bonnet, bumper
Professionally smoothed/dewipered boot
Remote central locking/boot pop solenoid
Good calibra leathers, rear bench trimmed to suit
Electric windows and mirrors
140mph GSi clocks
Richbrook handbrake handle
288mm front brakes, rear discs, braided lines

...and obviously all other bits except engine/box/wheels; eg glass, interior, panels, fuel tank etc...

Shell is tidy except for some crushed floor sections near the front where some idiot jacked it up badly. I've had a 3" patch welded for the MOT as well, and all undersealed since. There's a dent on the rear quarter and the kit needs fitting properly but other than that it's tidy.

If shell doesn't sell I'll split it down further, ie sell off the leather, brakes, suspension, gsi kit etc...

Shame your breaking this mate... I know your selling the shell as a whole going from you add... But if you do split ill take all the front end poly bushes off you including the steering rack ones.

if the shell doesnt sell whole mate id be interested in the 5 stud rear beam, and maybe the skirts if you would split the kit?

Minimatt has shown interest in full gsi kit, possibly minus the front bumper, brakes and calibra leather

Looking good for breaking so far chaps, as soon as I've got a deposit on engine or shell then I'll try and get deposits on the "medium" sized bits eg gsi kit, leather... and if it all comes together I'll break.

I'm pretty sure it will be happening. I'll give it a week from today at the most to see if it sells whole, if not then it will be broken anyways!

My price is listed above, same as the other parts have prices too

From BBS new they are well over a grand for the wheels alone, so around £1400 with tyres

Engine provisionally sold, I should have a deposit in next couple of days which will mean car is definitely broken.

I'll then go through all the posts on MIG/clubcalibra/corsasport etc... and give people dibs on parts based on who asked first.
