Cam is a good shout, aslong as its no more than a fast road spec then your be ok keeping it with standard pulley!

Go turbo people have seen over 200bhp with just fitting a turbo, intercooler, bigger injectors and rising rate reg,

2 of my friends have 2 of the most powerful vaux 8v's I've ever seen.

I think there is a Lexmaul RAM air thingy for it but there quite rare i would have thought due to age etc...

Is what in a mk2 astra?

If you on about the most powerful 8v turbos I've seen, then they are in a black tigra (used to be bronze) and a yellow mk2 astra.
