hey guys whenn you start it its like it dont really wanna run you give it a rev and it sorts its self out and then some tims it loses power/holding back when you try to accelerate. the eng light is on with egr fault will this cause wt im getting?

its on a 1.6 sport on a x-plate.basicly when you start it up it dont idal well like somethin is blocked or not enough fuel but when you give it a blip on the throttle it sorts it out.nd then some tims it loses power/holding back when you try to accelerate. the eng light is on with egr fault will this cause wt im getting?

Try the crank shaft sensor.. Mine had a problem like that it had no power when you reved it and I got told crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor but it tryed the crank shaft one 1st an the sorted it

my corsa does the same and i was told i have a problem with the egr when unplaugged it runs much better so could be that but could also be afm - can cause problem to start need throttle befroe it will idle.

If the eml says it's egr at fault then replace the egr... Why look for additional problems when you've just been told what's broken lol.

i had a straight though system no cat no silencer and an exhaust with no baffle (funkin loud) and i was getting the same symptoms you wer also check your airflow meter make sure that works swap it from another corsa or somthing
