Going for a quick run to DVLA office today.Involves some back roads and a bridge across the water but that makes no difference.
My question is,will it cost me to apply for the full V5 for my car when i have the new keeper suppliment??
I know its about 25quid without any doccy's,but i have the green slip.
Will i need to take some money with me??

IIRC if you have the New keeper supplement then you dont need to pay anything.

The previous owners name has been tip'exed out and my name put in,will that make a difference??I managed to tax it like this.
Mate said the DVLA actually told him to tip'ex it out and write his name in when he done it.

If it hasn't been issued already then it wont cost anything.
If they have already printed a new one with your details and sent it out then i believe they will charge you as you new keeper slip will be from a no longer valid V5.
