Sometimes i just dont understand them!! Went on go compare and admiral came up cheapest so clicked on the option to pay monthly and it took me to admirals site where it says phone this number if u wish to pay monthly so i did, after being on hold then the guy taking my details again hes goes on to say that they dont offer this quote on a pay monthly basis!!!! Wtf is the point in saying they do on the website!!! Just cant win these days can you

Sometimes, I dont use "the man in the middle" i.e. gocomapre/compare the market, becuae sometimes when you phone up the 'cheapest' quote they cant match it sometimes.

you pay a different amount with any insurance company for paying monthly instead of in a lump sum.

try elepahnt. there the same group as admiral and can offer the same qoute on monthly payments using admirals quote reference

Elephant are the same.The price they show on comparison sites are always if your paying in 1 lump sump.Paying monthly adds a % onto the lump sum price.

I was on gocompare yesterday and it gave me an option to choose at the start of the questions whether i normally pay my insurance monthly or yearly. Dont know if it made a difference though tbh

I found the compare sites gave very poor prices tbh, was about £150 cheaper for me to call places direct in the end.

I know that they add on a percentage but i asked the guy how much extra it will be to pay it monthly and thats when he said they dont do that quote on a monthly direct debit just dont see the point in having the option of paying it monthly if you cant
